Norfolk’s lovely rolling countryside is dotted with picturesque villages, farming hamlets and historic houses including the National Trust’s Blickling Hall (2.5 miles) and Felbrigg Hall. About 10 miles away, visitors can hire boats for exploring the evocative, reed lined waterways of the Norfolk Broads, stopping perhaps at a welcoming waterside inn. Seaside Cromer’s family attractions and sandy beach, and the cathedral, castle, galleries, museums and excellent shopping in the medieval city of Norwich are all within 10 miles.

A fabulous, extremely spacious property with a magnificent garden ideal for the kids. Plenty of room for a large gathering and in an excellent location for exploring Norfolk, highly recommended.

This was a fantastic building for a large family break. The bar room was excellent for family games, and a large lounge and a kitchen/diner that could handle everyone. There was also another space to find a quiet corner to read or listen to music and plenty of garden space for ball games and eating outside. The location also gives easy access to the whole of North Norfolk.

The coastline is the major attraction here, with miles of sandy beaches stretching from historic King’s Lynn all the way round to Great Yarmouth, famous for its Golden Mile and multitude of seaside attractions and entertainments. Cromer (noted for its crabs and pier), Sheringham and Hunstanton are also firm family favourites. If you prefer something quieter during your stay in one of our holiday cottages in Norfolk, try the North Norfolk Coast, a designated Area of Natural Beauty and a haven for walkers and birdwatchers. Venture inland and you’ll discover a gently rolling landscape dotted with flint cottages and ancient churches.
The county town of Norwich is one of England’s best-preserved cities and is a joy to wander around. Don’t miss a visit to the magnificent cathedral towering above the surrounding medieval streets. East of the city lie the Norfolk Broads, a vast expanse of interconnected lakes and waterways which has long been a firm favourite with sailors. Hire a boat for a day to see them at their best. Less
well-known are the mysterious Brecks, a wilderness area of heaths and forests and one of the least-populated parts of the country.
